        Sant Vinoba Bhave College of Agriculture and Research Station, Marra (Patan) is a constituent college of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (C.G.) that was established on 4th July 2019. The college is located in a rural area at Village-Marra, Tehsil-Patan in district- Durg, Chhattisgarh. Equipped with SMART classes, Tissue Culture Laboratory, Hi-Tech Nursery, Modern Laboratories and Experimental Farms, the college provides students with hands-on experience and practical training.

          The College library is well-equipped with a vast collection of print books, periodicals, and other e-resources.The library is fully automated with Koha 22.05.03 ILMS Open Source Software.Users can access e-resources through Consortium for e-Resources in Agriculture (CeRA) through J-Gate Next under IP authentication.The Library is a member of  National Digital Library. The library primarily focuses on providing documents related to Agriculture, Horticulture, allied sciences, and general resources to support educational and research development activities. Users can search the collection and access information through the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) facility. The library also offers access to over 1600 e-books and around 2967 journals in full text form through the e-platform. Additionally, users can access e-resources and other learning materials through the IGKV-Knimbus remote access platform.
               Great libraries are the foundation of self-improvement and community development. They provide valuable resources for students and faculty to enhance their learning and research. As Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, the Father of Library Science, once said, the library is the trinity of learning, consisting of resources, users, and library staff.

                The mission of the Library is to provide adequate support for teaching and research and outreach programs of the University by providing access to up-to-date global sources of information and learning resources through state-of-art technology and services. The library aspires to meet the challenges of providing global up-to-date information to local users and local information to global users.
